LOCATION: CALGARY
Our client, a leading Real Estate and Investment firm, seeks a talented SEO & Digital Strategist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEO and paid advertising management, with the ability to conduct keyword research, perform website audits, and develop backlink strategies. The role also involves creating and optimizing digital campaigns to support regional marketing initiatives, adjusting strategies to meet the needs of different demographics.
This position demands a solid understanding of SEO trends, digital advertising, and analytics.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
SEO Activities

Undertake keyword research to identify the right people through targeting, bidding strategies, and ad copy.

Conduct website audits to identify potential issues and make plans to address for better search results.

Monitor backlinks and develop plans on how to get quality backlinks from other websites.

Work with the content team to make sure website copy is relevant for search engines.

Staying on top of the latest SEO trends and changes to keep ahead of the game.

Collaborate with the team to make sure we’re meeting goals and deadlines.
Paid Ad Management

Manage and optimize paid ad campaigns across platforms (e.g., Google, META, YouTube, etc.), ensuring high ROI and key performance metrics.

Ensuring marketing campaign performance is positive and all campaigns run smoothly, efficiently and garner positive ROI..

Look at traffic and campaign data and provide insights to maximize effectiveness.

Creating targeted campaigns for regional initiatives, adapting to different demographics and market dynamics.
Analytics and Reporting

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), looking at website and campaign data, and making weekly and monthly reports.

Tracking ad budgets and making recommendations efficiencies.

Forecast marketing performance metrics

Making sure data is accurate in our reporting software.
WHAT WILL YOU NEED?
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in marketing or similar field but equivalent practical experience will be considered.
• 4+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on SEO, paid ad management, and analytics.
• Proven experience with keyword research, website audits, backlink strategies, and campaign optimization.
• Proficient in digital marketing tools like Google Analytics, Google Ads, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and other analytics platforms for performance tracking, reporting, and optimizing campaigns.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and optimizing paid ad campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, META, etc.), including monitoring KPIs and adjusting strategies for improved performance.
• Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Yardi) and other marketing automation platforms.
• In-depth knowledge of SEO trends, best practices, and algorithms, with a commitment to staying up to date on industry changes.
• Experience collaborating with content teams to optimize SEO copy and align with overall marketing strategies.
• Strong project management and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and work effectively with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to report clearly and effectively to management and stakeholders.
• Results-driven with strong problem-solving and adaptability, able to navigate changing trends and market dynamics.
• Creative thinker, able to generate and implement innovative digital strategies to improve engagement and brand awareness.
• Knowledge of the real estate or property management industry is a plus.
