Graphic Designer

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Graphic Designer to support the digital and print projects of our nonprofit client. This is a 2+ month contract, full-time hours, and 3 days/week in their downtown office to collaborate with the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with marketing team to understand our client’s brand strategy, goals, and guidelines.
- Execute and produce design assets across social media, email, and event collateral (signage, name badges, and pull up banners).
- Ensure all design assets are consistent with their established brand guidelines.
- Assist in the creation of templates, style guides, and other resources to support the client’s internal teams in maintaining brand consistency.
- Present design concepts and revisions to internal teams and clients, incorporating feedback to refine and finalize designs.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of the highest quality.
- Stay updated on industry trends, design best practices, and emerging technologies to bring fresh and innovative ideas to the rebrand rollout.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- 4+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably with an interest in the automotive industry.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other relevant tools.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work, including brand identity projects and rebranding initiatives.
- Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout techniques.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to clients and team members.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Creative thinker with a passion for design and a willingness to experiment and innovate.
