Digital Production Designer (Contract)
We’re looking for a reliable and skilled Digital Production Designer to support our client’s brand and marketing initiatives. This role is focused on producing branded assets for both digital channels and internal use, ensuring they meet visual, technical, and accessibility standards. You must be willing to work in their Waterloo office.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Crafting visually engaging assets for digital channels, such as social content, online ads, email visuals, and web graphics — all aligned with brand voice and visual identity.

  • Creating polished materials for business communications, including decks, handouts, summaries, and team documentation.

  • Translating content into clean, structured layouts that are brand-consistent and user-friendly.

  • Ensuring that all visual output meets accessibility standards (including AODA), including layout, typography, and alternative text.

  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders and project coordinators to clarify project needs and manage feedback loops.

  • Managing multiple design deliverables at once, balancing speed with attention to detail.

  • Proofing visuals for accuracy, clarity, and brand alignment before final delivery.

  • Designing in both Figma and Adobe tools (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) to develop and refine creative assets.

  • Tracking project status and priorities using our client’s PM tool.

  • Maintaining a well-organized design file system and versioning structure for ongoing access by the team.

  • Following team processes for sharing final files and ensuring all deliverables reach the right contacts.

About You:

  • Experience in a graphic design or visual production role, with a strong eye for layout and typography.

  • Proficient with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and comfortable working in a structured production pipeline.

  • Understanding of accessibility requirements and how to apply them to digital and print content.

  • Familiarity with project management tools (Jira, Trello, Asana, or similar).

  • Able to juggle competing deadlines while maintaining a high bar for quality and consistency.

  • Excellent communicator who values feedback, collaboration, and cross-functional teamwork.

  • Comfortable working within brand guidelines but able to apply creative thinking to execution.

  • A background in design, marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.

We look forward to hearing from you!
