Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented Front End Developer to join our retail client’s team and contribute to their email and web banner initiatives. This is a full-time 2 month contract, with the potential to extend. The Front End Developer will be responsible for designing, coding, and optimizing email campaigns and web banners. This role requires a keen eye for design, proficiency in front end technologies, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop responsive emails and banners by assembling the HTML components, and testing, targeting, and deploying the final assets. 
  • Optimize the assets for performance, ensuring fast load times and compatibility across different browsers and devices.
  • Ensure clean, maintainable, and efficient HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code.
  • Work closely with designers, marketers, and other developers to implement and refine digital content.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members as needed.
  • Conduct thorough testing of emails and web banners to ensure they function correctly and look great across all platforms and devices.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues related to email rendering and web banner performance.
  • Implement feedback from stakeholders to continuously improve digital content.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, Computer Science, Graphic Design, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in front end development, with a focus on email and web banner creation.
  • Proven experience with responsive email design and development.
  • Portfolio showcasing previous email and web banner projects.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug front end issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
