Copywriter – Retail & Loyalty Marketing

Contract | Remote, Calgary or Toronto

We’re looking for a talented Copywriter to join our team and support one of our agency’s major retail and loyalty marketing accounts. This role calls for a detail-oriented communicator who can craft clear, engaging, and on-brand messaging across digital and email channels.

You’ll collaborate closely with our creative and account teams to ensure every piece of copy is accurate, polished, and consistent with brand standards.

What You’ll Do

  • Write and edit copy for email campaigns, digital content, and promotional offers.

  • Ensure all deliverables meet brand and technical standards — including capitalization, trademarks, superscripts, and CTAs.

  • Maintain naming consistencies and ensure offer details, timelines, and messaging are precise.

  • Collaborate with creative leadership to produce content that’s on-brand, compliant, and conversion-focused.

  • Revise and refine copy based on feedback, delivering work that’s ready for final approval.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience writing marketing and email copy for well-known consumer or retail brands.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in grammar, brand voice, and formatting.

  • Ability to work quickly, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills — responsive, reliable, and open to feedback.

  • A commitment to producing high-quality, low-revision copy that supports creative and business goals.
