Senior Production Designer (Print & Large Format)

We are seeking experienced Senior Production Designers who can support our government client’s creative team on an as-needed, ad hoc, and ongoing basis. This role is ideal for designers who can flex during evenings and weekends when required and are comfortable stepping into fast-moving production cycles.

The designers in this role will focus heavily on print production, working with established templates and executing high-volume rollouts across a range of formats. This includes large-scale signage, hoarding, environmental graphics, and resizing assets to meet both small and large format specifications with precision and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute production design for print-based assets using established templates and brand guidelines.

  • Produce and version large-scale signage, hoarding, and environmental graphics across multiple dimensions and formats.

  • Resize and adapt print layouts for both small and large format specifications, ensuring accuracy across all deliverables.

  • Perform detailed typesetting and layout refinements to ensure print-ready quality.

  • Manage multiple production rollouts simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail.

  • Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to deliver work within tight and often shifting timelines.

  • Provide support on an ongoing, ad hoc basis, including evening or weekend availability when needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong production design experience with a focus on print.

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign (typesetting experience required).

  • Demonstrated ability to adapt designs across various sizes and formats, including large-scale signage and hoarding.

  • Familiarity with preparing files for print vendors and understanding print specifications.

  • Ability to work independently, manage shifting priorities, and meet tight deadlines.

  • Availability for evening and weekend work as needed.
