Presentation Designer (PowerPoint Specialist)

Freelance, Ad Hoc — Financial Services Client

We’re seeking an experienced Presentation Designer with deep expertise in PowerPoint to support a leading financial services organization. This role focuses on transforming complex information into clear, compelling visual narratives while maintaining strict brand consistency.

About the Role

You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders to refine existing slides, rebuild visuals, and create polished, professional presentations. The ideal candidate combines strong aesthetic judgment with a data-literate mindset and the ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Enhance and redesign presentation materials using advanced PowerPoint techniques.

  • Improve clarity, flow, and visual hierarchy within decks while respecting established brand standards.

  • Interpret rough outlines or draft slides and turn them into refined, executive-ready content.

  • Develop or recreate charts and data visuals, even when source files are incomplete or unavailable.

  • Use Excel, PowerPoint chart tools, and custom graphical elements to present data accurately and attractively.

  • Ensure consistent formatting, typography, spacing, and overall visual language across all deliverables.

  • Iterate quickly based on feedback and work comfortably with shifting inputs or ambiguous starting points.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience designing high-quality presentations, specifically in PowerPoint.

  • Strong storytelling instincts and the ability to communicate ideas visually.

  • Confidence working with data and creating clean, clear data visualizations.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing polished, on-brand work.

  • Ability to work efficiently under tight timelines and adapt to evolving requirements.
