Graphic Designer
San Francisco, California, United States
Freelance Visual Designer
5–10 hrs/week (ongoing) | Remote (Canada-based; Toronto preferred)
About the Client
Our client is a digital entertainment company headquartered in the US and expanding into the Canadian market. They create playful, culturally relevant experiences and are looking for design support that reflects a fun, vibrant, colourful brand – not corporate or buttoned-up.
This is an ongoing, part-time opportunity, ideal for a permalancer who enjoys working with growing brands and jumping in as needed.
The Role
We’re looking for a visual designer with a strong portfolio who can bring energy, polish, and personality to a range of marketing and partner-facing materials. You’ll work within existing brand guidelines and templates, adding creative flair while keeping everything on-brand and market-relevant for Canada.
What You’ll Do
-
Build presentation decks in Google Slides, working from existing templates
-
Create one-pagers that are colourful, funky, and on-brand
-
Design short reports (e.g., audience insights) to share with B2B partners
-
Support paid social and advertising assets, particularly for the Canadian market
-
Create other advertising deliverables as needed
What We’re Looking For
-
A strong visual portfolio demonstrating work for fun, vibrant, consumer-facing or B2B brands
-
Experience designing decks, one-pagers, and marketing materials (Google Slides experience is a must)
-
Comfort working within brand systems while still bringing creativity and personality
-
Strong layout, typography, and visual storytelling skills
-
Ability to work independently, manage a small weekly workload, and turn things around efficiently
