Digital Production Designer (Contract)

Overview

We’re looking for a Digital Production Designer to support our retail client’s design team across a range of digital assets. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who is equally comfortable working independently and collaborating with a broader team.

You’ll be taking pre-approved creative concepts and applying them across multiple formats, channels, and languages, with a strong eye for typography, layout, and consistency. While much of the work is production-focused, there will be opportunities to flex creatively when required.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Executing digital resizing and reformatting across multiple deliverables

  • Designing and adapting assets for banners, CRM, web, and social media

  • Working extensively in Figma, including components, auto layout, and shared libraries

  • Applying strong typographic judgment (line spacing, type setting, layout refinements)

  • Incorporating feedback efficiently and navigating multiple rounds of revisions

  • Preparing files for print when needed (basic print setup knowledge preferred; deep pre-press expertise not required)

What We’re Looking For

  • Intermediate-level designer who can work independently and collaboratively

  • Strong attention to detail and comfort with production-heavy work

  • Solid Figma experience beyond the basics

  • Good design fundamentals with the ability to adjust when more creative expression is requested

  • Positive, flexible attitude toward feedback and iteration

  • Some familiarity with print file preparation is a plus

Logistics

  • Start: Early February

  • Contract: 6 months

  • Hours: Full-time (7.5 hours/day)

  • Location: Remote, with a preference for candidates who can occasionally come onsite

  • Rate: $35–$40/hour

If this sounds like a good fit for your skill set and working style, we’d love to connect and share more about the team and upcoming projects.
