Salary: $115,000–$135,000

About the Company
We are seeking a Marketing Director, or a Senior Marketing Manager ready to step into a Director role, for a design-led, premium DTC consumer brand entering an exciting new growth phase. Known for thoughtful design, craftsmanship, and rich brand storytelling, the business has ambitious year-over-year revenue targets across both ecommerce and wholesale channels.
The company operates with a balanced split between ecommerce and wholesale, selling through owned digital platforms as well as boutiques and department stores globally. While North America remains the current focus, international expansion is firmly on the horizon.
The Opportunity
This is an end-to-end leadership role overseeing brand, performance marketing, ecommerce strategy, wholesale support, and growth execution. The Marketing Director will own the mandate of increasing brand exposure, scaling revenue-driving channels, and building the systems, processes, and accountability needed to support continued expansion.
You’ll lead a small, highly collaborative marketing team and partner closely with external agencies and creative consultants, balancing creative brand stewardship with analytical rigour and commercial accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Ecommerce Strategy & Operations

Own the ecommerce roadmap and develop a comprehensive strategy to drive revenue growth, profitability, and customer acquisition

Oversee website functionality, optimization, and user experience across Shopify platforms

Partner with the Ecommerce & Retention Manager to execute promotions, product launches, and site updates (pricing, content refreshes, merchandising)

Monitor KPIs including conversion rate, average order value, ROAS, CAC, and retention performance

Collaborate cross-functionally (product, logistics, wholesale, retail) to ensure a seamless end-to-end customer experience
Digital Advertising, Influencer & PR

Lead and scale paid media strategy across Meta, Google, and emerging growth channels

Oversee the influencer strategy and the PR agency relationship to ensure consistent brand visibility and meaningful audience growth

Oversee digital, wholesale, and brick-and-mortar campaigns across paid search, paid/organic social, email, SMS, affiliates, and partnerships

Lead planning for campaign launches, collaborations, and brand events
Brand, Campaigns & Storytelling

Increase brand exposure and awareness—one of the business’s biggest growth opportunities

Lead major commercial moments (Mother’s Day, Black Friday, seasonal campaigns)

Own monthly product launch strategy, creative briefs, and go-to-market execution

Partner closely with wholesale and retail teams to support launches and elevate brand storytelling across channels
Budget Management, Forecasting & Performance Accountability

Develop, manage and track the monthly and annual budget for e-commerce and digital advertising, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.

Develop ecommerce revenue forecasting and set daily, monthly, and annual performance targets

Track spend efficiency and reallocate budgets based on channel performance

Build and maintain dashboards, paid media trackers, and reporting frameworks

Hold agencies and partners accountable to clear performance metrics and outcomes
Team Leadership & Collaboration

Lead, mentor, and develop a marketing team of three direct reports

Collaborate with external partners including paid media agencies, PR, freelance creative leadership, and consultants

Foster a kind, collaborative, and high-accountability team culture

Stay ahead of emerging digital trends, tools, and technologies to drive innovation
Qualifications

7+ years of experience in ecommerce, growth, or digital marketing roles within a DTC consumer brand (fashion, beauty, lifestyle, premium retail)

Proven ownership of ecommerce revenue forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting

Hands-on experience across paid media, influencer, PR, partnerships, and lifecycle marketing

Strong command of analytics tools (GA4, Shopify analytics, etc.) and ability to translate insights into action

Comfortable managing agencies and external partners

Strategic yet execution-oriented leader who thrives in lean, fast-paced environments

Polished communicator with experience partnering cross-functionally and representing brand externally

Shopify Plus experience is a plus
