Salary Range: $75,000–$85,000
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Creative Producer to join an in-house creative team and bring a stronger creative and storytelling lens to content production. This is a hybrid role that blends strategy, creative planning, and production leadership — ideal for someone who loves shaping stories and ensuring every shoot delivers long-term value across channels.

This role owns the creative thinking behind production: defining what stories to tell, how to tell them, and how captured content should be activated across digital, social, events, and brand platforms.

You won’t be behind the camera day-to-day, but you will lead projects from concept to final asset, ensuring no shoot is ever “just a shoot.”

What You’ll Do

Content Strategy & Planning

  • Develop content strategies and creative concepts aligned with brand priorities, campaigns, launches, and key initiatives

  • Identify lifestyle storytelling opportunities real-world environments

  • Plan content holistically, designing each production to serve multiple outputs across website, social, events, campaigns, and sales tools

  • Own scripting and editorial planning, including story arcs and micro-content opportunities

Storytelling & Creative Direction

  • Shape narratives through scripts, outlines, and storyboards that guide how content is captured

  • Conduct interviews and walkthroughs with human subjects and internal partners to surface authentic stories

  • Translate real-world moments into compelling visual and written storytelling

  • Present creative ideas clearly and confidently to internal stakeholders

Production Leadership

  • Lead creative pre-production: define deliverables, build shot lists, and brief photographers, videographers, and creators

  • Provide creative direction during key moments of production (on location or remotely)

  • Ensure every shoot captures a full content ecosystem: hero visuals, detail shots, video, behind-the-scenes, and short-form assets

  • Continuously look for ways to maximize production value and reduce one-off content creation

360° Content Activation

  • Work with internal creative and marketing teams to translate captured content into assets for campaigns, website, catalogs, presentations, events, and social

  • Ensure content is organized, documented, and delivered in formats that make reuse easy

  • Connect strategy to execution by clearly defining how and where content will be used

Social Platforms Focus (Instagram & TikTok)

  • Own the creative approach for how stories come to life on Instagram and TikTok

  • Collaborate closely with a videographer and social executor who handles day-to-day publishing

  • Provide strategic direction on formats, narratives, and series development

  • Stay current on platform trends and audience behaviour to guide smarter content planning

Performance & Evolution

  • Review content performance across channels, particularly social, and apply learnings to future productions

  • Continuously evolve production approaches, formats, and workflows to improve efficiency and impact

  • Look for scalable, repeatable ways to plan and activate content

What You Bring

  • 3–5 years of experience in content strategy, creative production, or campaign planning

  • Strong storytelling instincts and the ability to shape narratives from real-world environments

  • Hands-on experience planning shoots, briefing creatives, and working cross-functionally

  • A solid understanding of Instagram and TikTok as storytelling platforms (not just posting channels)

  • Excellent project management skills; organized, proactive, and comfortable juggling multiple productions

  • A strategic mindset that thinks beyond individual deliverables to long-term content value

  • Curiosity for design, spaces, construction, and the people behind the work

Nice to Have

  • Experience developing social-first video series or campaign-driven storytelling

  • Familiarity with tools like Frame.io, Airtable, Canva, or basic editing workflows

  • Background in design, architecture, home improvement, or B2B storytelling

  • French fluency is a plus

Work Environment

  • Primarily onsite role located just outside Montreal, easily accessible by public transit

  • Collaborative, creative team with a strong focus on quality and storytelling

  • Opportunity to grow creatively while helping shape a more strategic content engine

If you’re a strategic storyteller who knows how to turn real-world moments into high-impact, multi-channel content, we’d love to hear from you.
