Account Executive (Retail Client)
Contract | Hybrid – 3 days/week downtown Toronto

We’re partnering with a creative agency to hire a confident and experienced Account Executive to manage a high-profile retail client relationship. This is an exciting opportunity for an agency professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at building strong client partnerships, and can lead projects from brief to delivery while collaborating closely with internal creative teams.

About the Role:

You’ll serve as the day-to-day contact for a key retail client, ensuring smooth communication, successful delivery of creative projects, and alignment between client needs and agency teams. You’ll be responsible for driving timelines forward, managing expectations, and supporting the overall success of the client relationship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as primary point of contact for the client, maintaining strong and professional relationships.

  • Manage day-to-day project delivery, ensuring creative assets are delivered on time and on brief.

  • Translate client briefs into actionable direction for internal teams.

  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, capture key outcomes, and provide clear follow-up actions.

  • Monitor project timelines and budgets, proactively flagging risks or challenges.

  • Partner with creative, production, and strategy teams to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • An Account Executive (or experienced Account Coordinator ready for the next step).

  • Agency background strongly preferred, ideally with experience managing retail accounts.

  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with strong instincts for timing and prioritization.

  • Skilled communicator who can manage feedback with clarity and professionalism.

  • Solution-oriented mindset: proactive in identifying opportunities and addressing challenges.

  • Familiarity with print and digital production processes.
