Associate Director, Brand Insights & Strategy – CPG Industry
Position Overview:
We are looking for a data-driven Director, Brand Insights & Strategy to play a pivotal role in shaping our client’s brand strategy and market positioning. This hybrid role requires a strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset who can translate market research, competitive analysis, and consumer trends into actionable insights that drive growth.
The ideal candidate has a passion for CPG, excels at identifying opportunities through data, and can optimize product pricing, campaign effectiveness, and brand positioning based on measurable results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct competitive benchmarking to assess market positioning and identify opportunities.
- Analyze consumer trends and industry shifts to inform brand strategy.
- Evaluate new and existing products, pricing strategies, and promotional effectiveness.
- Lead market research initiatives to understand customer behavior and preferences.
- Develop pricing strategies based on consumer insights and competitive data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand messaging aligns with market needs.
- Conduct post-mortem campaign analysis, identifying key takeaways and optimizing future strategies.
- Track and report on brand performance metrics, providing actionable recommendations.
- Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to refine brand initiatives based on data-driven insights.
Who You Are:
- 7+ years of experience in brand management, marketing analytics, or a related field.
- Strong background in market research, pricing strategies, and competitive analysis.
- Proven ability to analyze data and translate insights into strategic recommendations.
- Experience with post-mortem campaign analysis and performance reporting.
- Passion for CPG, along with an understanding of D2C industry trends.
- Strong collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally with marketing, product, and sales teams.
