Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bilingual Proposal Writer to join our client in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating compelling and high-quality proposals that effectively communicate our client’s capabilities and win new business. This role requires excellent writing skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to produce winning proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and writing of proposals in response to RFPs, RFQs, and other solicitation documents within the AEC industry.
  • Work closely with project managers, technical staff, and business development teams to gather necessary information and insights for proposal content.
  • Create, edit, and proofread proposal content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance with solicitation requirements.
  • Develop tailored content that effectively highlights the company’s strengths, capabilities, and experience in the AEC industry.
  • Maintain a library of proposal templates, boilerplate text, and other reusable content to streamline the proposal development process.
  • Coordinate proposal activities, including scheduling meetings, assigning tasks, and managing timelines to ensure timely and accurate submission.
  • Facilitate review and approval processes with senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure all proposals comply with the client’s requirements and industry standards.
  • Perform final quality checks on proposals to ensure consistency, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to proposal writing and submission.
  • Conduct research on potential clients, competitors, and market trends to inform proposal strategy and content.
  • Identify and analyze key client needs and tailor proposals to address these needs effectively.


  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field.???????
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in proposal writing, preferably within the AEC industry.
  • Fully bilingual in French and English. 
  • ???????Proven track record of developing and winning proposals for architecture, engineering, or construction projects.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Some familiarity with InDesign is required 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
