Position Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Communications Manager to support our agency partner on a part-time basis for the next several months, working remotely. As a Communications Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive communication strategies to enhance brand visibility, reputation, and stakeholder engagement for the clients of our agency partner. Responsibilities:

  • Communication Strategy Development: Develop and execute  integrated communication strategies aligned with the client’s goals, brand positioning, and stakeholder needs. Define communication objectives, target audiences, messaging, and channels to effectively reach and engage key stakeholders.
  • Content Creation and Management: Create compelling content for various communication channels, including web content, blog posts, and social media posts. Ensure content is accurate, timely, and aligned with the brand voice and messaging guidelines provided. 
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders, including clients, executive leaders, and community members, to build relationships, gather feedback, and address concerns. Develop communication materials and engagement strategies tailored to different stakeholder groups.
  • Creative Strategy: Brainstorm and lead creative thinking sessions with our client to devise new ways of approaching projects. 

???????Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field. 
  • 7+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or corporate communications, preferably in a managerial role.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with a particular focus on digital channels. 
  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute communication plans aligned with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Proficiency in communication tools and platforms, including media monitoring software, content management systems, and social media management tools.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling, innovation, and driving positive change through effective communication.
