Content Writer (3+ Month Contract)
Remote | 3+ months (initially part-time with potential to ramp-up to full-time hours)
We’re seeking an experienced Communications Specialist to support external communications initiatives for our insurance client. This role will be responsible for crafting clear, engaging, and tailored messaging across multiple channels – including email, newsletters, web, and social media – to help drive engagement, clarity, and consistency in communications.
About the Role
You’ll work closely with the marketing team to plan and deliver timely communications, ensuring alignment of tone, messaging, and channel strategy. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of broker and partner communications, excellent writing and editing skills, and the ability to translate complex information into concise, audience-appropriate messages.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and distribute broker communications, including updates, bulletins, and newsletters.

Tailor messaging and tone to effectively engage a professional, external audience.

Partner with marketing and social teams to ensure consistent communication across email, web, and social media channels.

Support planning and execution of content calendars, approvals, and dissemination workflows.

Maintain brand voice, accuracy, and compliance across all external materials.

Track and measure engagement performance to inform future communication strategies.
What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in external or corporate communications, ideally within financial services, insurance, or B2B environments.

Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to adapt tone and style for broker audiences.

Strong understanding of multi-channel communication strategies, including email marketing and social media.

Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
