Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Content Marketing Manager with excellent writing skills to join our tech client on the next 1+ year basis, working full-time hours, remotely. You will help craft compelling content that drives engagement, leads, and brand awareness. As a Content Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging content that supports our client’s content marketing strategy and campaign goals. You will work closely with the marketing team to produce a variety of content types, including digital ads, social ads, promo emails, drip emails, nurture emails, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Write, edit, and optimize a wide range of content, including digital ads, social ads, promo emails, drip emails, and nurture emails.
- Content Strategy: Collaborate with the campaign team, the creative team, and other stakeholders to develop and execute a content strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and target audience.
- SEO Optimization: Implement SEO best practices to ensure content is optimized for search engines and helps drive organic traffic.
- Audience Engagement: Craft content that resonates with our client’s target audience, drives engagement, and encourages conversions.
- Research: Conduct thorough research on industry trends, target audiences, and competitors to inform content creation.
- Content Calendar: Assist in the development and maintenance of a content calendar to ensure a consistent publishing schedule.
- Analytics: Monitor content performance metrics (e.g., page views, time on page, conversion rates) and use data-driven insights to refine content strategies and improve results.
- Brand Voice: Ensure all content is consistent with the brand’s voice, tone, and messaging guidelines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the creative, campaign, and other teams to create cohesive and compelling content across all channels.
- Content Distribution: Assist in promoting content through various channels, including social media, email marketing, and content syndication platforms.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in content writing and content marketing, preferably in corporate, B2B SaaS, or tech.
- Writing Skills: Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse content types.
- SEO Knowledge: Solid understanding of SEO principles and experience with keyword research and on-page optimization.
- Content Marketing: Proven experience developing and executing content marketing strategies that drive engagement and conversions.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze content performance data and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Creativity: A creative thinker who can generate new ideas and approaches to content creation.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), social media platforms, and analytics tools.
