Position Overview:

We are looking for a Copywriter for a 1 year contract, working approx. 30 hrs/week, for our large financial client. With a focus on conversion, you will play a pivotal role in our client’s marketing efforts by creating persuasive and results-driven copy that engages their audience and drives conversions. You’ll work closely with the digital communications team to craft compelling messaging across various business lines. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop persuasive and engaging copy for a variety of marketing channels, including email campaigns, landing pages, social media content, and digital advertisements, with a strong focus on driving conversions.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of financial products and services to effectively communicate complex financial concepts in clear, concise, and compelling language.
  • Collaborate with marketing & communications teams to segment and tailor messaging to different audience groups, ensuring that the copy resonates with the unique needs and pain points of each segment.
  • Work closely with the marketing analytics team to design and implement A/B tests to optimize copy and messaging for higher conversion rates, using data-driven insights to refine your work continuously.
  • Apply SEO best practices to your copy to improve organic search visibility and attract potential clients while maintaining a strong focus on conversion.
  • Maintain brand voice and consistency in all written materials, aligning with the company’s values and mission.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a copywriter, preferably in the financial industry.
  • A portfolio showcasing your ability to create conversion-optimized copy across email, landing pages, and social media.
  • Strong knowledge of principles and trends surrounding direct response, CRM, and sales copy. 
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools and content management systems.
