Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Copywriter with Proofreading and QA Skills for our agency client. This is an ongoing remote contract, working 10-15 hours per week. You will be responsible for creating compelling and error-free content across various digital channels. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and quality of all written materials produced by our client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop clear, concise, and engaging copy for marketing materials, including websites, digital ads, email campaigns, social media posts, and more.
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Conduct thorough proofreading and editing of copy to ensure accuracy, clarity, grammar, spelling, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Implement quality assurance processes to maintain consistency in messaging and brand voice across all communications.
  • Review and provide feedback on content drafts, making revisions as needed to improve readability and effectiveness.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and project timelines.
  • Conduct content audits and quality checks to identify and address any issues or discrepancies in written materials.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to copywriting and content creation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a copywriter, content writer, or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing writing and editing skills.
  • Excellent proofreading abilities with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Solid understanding of grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to adapt writing style to different audiences and platforms.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with cross-functional teams.
