Senior Director, E-Commerce & Marketplace Strategy

Position Overview:

Are you a results-driven leader with a deep understanding of the North American e-commerce and marketplace dynamics? We are seeking a Senior Director to develop and execute online sales strategies, optimize marketplace presence, and drive revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership and negotiation skills who can proactively navigate the evolving digital landscape and execute high-impact sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute effective strategies to expand marketplace presence, focusing on Amazon and key online platforms.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing e-commerce team.
  • Build and optimize relationships with online retail partners to maximize sales.
  • Oversee pricing, promotions, and advertising investments for profitability.
  • Manage inventory forecasting and demand planning.
  • Analyze sales data to refine strategies and improve outcomes.
  • Collaborate with marketing and other cross functional teams to enhance digital campaigns and brand positioning.
  • Drive process improvements and innovation in e-commerce operations.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 8+ years in e-commerce sales or marketplace management, preferably in consumer goods.
  • Cross functional collaborator able to work with all internal teams to achieve results.
  • Proven success in growing Amazon sales across North American markets.
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
  • Expertise in marketplace operations, pricing, and inventory management.
  • Excellent leadership, business development, and account management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and e-commerce analytics tools.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced digital environment.
