Director, Customer Marketing (remote US or Canada)

A fast-growing, mission-driven SaaS company is looking for a Director of Customer Marketing to lead a high-performing team focused on engagement, growth, and advocacy across a large, passionate customer base. This role can be based in Canada or the US, with hubs in major cities.

What You’ll Lead

  • Manage and develop a talented team of cross functional customer marketers.
  • Own strategy for engagement, cross-sell, upsell, expansion, and lifecycle marketing.
  • Lead revenue generating opportunities through customer cross sell, upsell and demand generation functions.
  • Oversee customer communications to ensure high-value, high-quality outreach.
  • Lead programs that educate customers, highlight best practices, and drive product adoption.
  • Drive advocacy initiatives including referrals, reviews, case studies, and speakerships.
  • Advance segmentation, personalization, and marketing automation strategies.
  • Partner across the business to align on customer insights, growth initiatives, and strategic priorities.
  • Report on performance metrics, OKRs, and long-term customer marketing strategy.

What You Bring

  • 10+ years in customer marketing or product marketing, must have experience in B2B SaaS.
  • Experience leading teams of 5+ and driving complex, multi-channel programs.
  • Strong strategic thinking paired with the ability to execute.
  • A track record of hitting ambitious growth targets.
  • Curiosity, collaboration, creativity, and a love of data-informed decision making.
