Our tech client is a growth-stage, relationship-driven organization with a lean team and a strong appetite for building sales-driven, smarter, more scalable marketing initiatives and operations.

 


The Opportunity

We are seeking a hands-on Director of Growth Marketing to build, operationalize, and systematize our client’s marketing function to drive measurable business growth for their B2B and B2C channels.

This is not a siloed enterprise tech role. We are not looking for someone who has only operated within a narrow function.

We need a scrappy, analytical, builder-minded leader who can:

  • Develop a sales-driven marketing strategy
     

  • Build infrastructure and systems from the ground up
     

  • Bring discipline to lead hygiene and data analytics
     

  • Support relationship-based business development efforts
     

  • Ensure brand continuity and clarity across verticals
     

You will operate largely independently while leading two direct reports and collaborating closely with multiple teams including operations, finance, consultants, and executive leadership.

 


The Mandate

Drive Growth Across Verticals

  • Define and execute a growth strategy across their customer segments
     

  • Clarify targeting, positioning, and messaging for both B2B and B2C channels
     

  • Support distribution channel development and partnership strategy
     

  • Build out marketing initiatives tailored to each vertical
     

Systematize the Marketing Function

  • Clean up and organize lead data (conference leads, website, landing pages, inbound, referrals, organic)
     

  • Implement structured lead hygiene and funnel tracking
     

  • Build analytics capabilities to answer:
     

    • What’s driving growth?
       

    • What’s converting?
       

    • What’s the ROI per channel?
       

  • Establish scalable processes across CRM, reporting, and automation
     

  • Build and optimize the marketing tech stack (leveraging consultants as needed)
     

Support Relationship-Driven Sales

  • Partner closely with business development
     

  • Elevate conference and event strategy
     

  • Oversee physical collateral and website optimization
     

  • Ensure consistent messaging and branding across verticals
     

Build Strategic Continuity

  • Create alignment across all vertical messaging, branding, and web presence
     

  • Establish templated systems for digital and print assets
     

  • Ensure marketing is grounded in a clear understanding of buyer behaviour and bulk-share sales models
     

 


What We’re Looking For

  • Experience building and scaling marketing systems in a growth-stage environment
     

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into strategy
     

  • Proven GTM experience across B2B and B2C sales
     

  • Experience working in lean-budget environments (with ability to build business cases for incremental investment)
     

  • Comfort operating independently and taking full ownership
     

  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams including operations, finance, and executive teams
     

  • Strong understanding of CRM, marketing automation, and analytics tools
     

  • Ability to bring structure and process to relationship-driven organizations
     

Experience in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, collaborative, leaner organizations is highly relevant.
