Position Overview: 
We are seeking a skilled and creative Editorial Writer to join our client’s dynamic editorial team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for writing, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to produce compelling, storytelling-like content across various topics. The Editorial Writer will be responsible for creating articles for their website that aligns with our client’s brand voice and editorial standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Write engaging and informative articles on a variety of lifestyle topics relevant to our client’s audience.

  • Interviews: Occasionally conduct interviews with SMEs that will be provided. All research will be provided in each brief.

  • Editing and Proofreading: Revise and edit content based on feedback from editors, ensuring clarity, coherence, and adherence to our style guide.

  • Audience Engagement: Write in a tone and style that resonates with our client’s audience, encouraging reader engagement and fostering community through thoughtful and relevant content.
  • Deadline Management: Meet all deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy in writing.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or a related field.

  • Experience: 5+ years of professional writing experience, preferably in a media, publishing, or digital content environment.

  • Writing Skills: Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading abilities, with a strong portfolio of published work.

  • SEO Knowledge: Understanding of SEO principles and how to apply them to written content.

  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing error-free content.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in an accessible manner.
