Job Summary

As Marketing Manager, you will work with the inside sales team, executives, and external partners. You will develop and implement marketing strategies to drive profitable growth through brand communication, retail activation, product education, and social media engagement.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Strategy Development:

    • Contribute to marketing strategies aligned with company objectives.
    • Analyze competitor strategies and industry trends.
  2. Campaign Management:

    • Plan, budget, and execute integrated B2B marketing campaigns across various channels using email, social media, POS, and retail activation.
    • Plan, budget, and execute retailer marketing and promotional campaigns in collaboration with the sales team.
    • Monitor campaign performance, analyze results, and optimize strategies for maximum effectiveness.
  3. Brand Management:

    • Develop brand messaging and visuals aligned with positioning.
    • Maintain brand consistency across all marketing channels and materials.
    • Ensure brand guidelines are followed in all marketing efforts.
    • Manage all changes to packaging visuals, graphics, and text to ensure consistency across the product portfolio.
  4. Collaboration:

    • Work closely with sales, product development, and other departments to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives.
    • Collaborate with external agencies and business partners to ensure projects are executed on time and on budget.
  5. Content Development:

    • Oversee the creation of compelling content for marketing campaigns, including websites, e-commerce content, wholesale marketplaces, email marketing, blog posts, social media posts, videos, and more.
    • Ensure content is tailored to target both consumer and wholesale audiences and supports brand messaging.
    • Create, organize, and maintain the digital asset database for internal and external retail partners.
  6. Analytics and Reporting:

    • Track and analyze key performance metrics to measure the success of marketing initiatives.
    • Prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting insights, ROI, and recommendations for optimization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in marketing, focusing on brand positioning, product management, content development, and campaign management.
  • Experience working in the CPG category.
  • Marketing through wholesale channels to retailers.
  • Experience working with and managing agencies and consultants.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools/platforms and CRM tools with experience in customer segmentation, analysis, and campaign deployment.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Demonstrates creativity and innovation in problem-solving and campaign development.
  • Familiarity with industry trends and best practices.
  • Experience growing brands in an entrepreneurial environment.

Requirements:

  • Hybrid onsite, minimum 3 days/week in the North York, Ontario office, with flexibility to come in as required.
  • Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM EST (occasional travel and work outside regular hours may be required).
