Marketing Operations Specialist (Salesforce/HubSpot)

Location: Remote (Canada, EST)
Hours: Full-time hours
We are seeking a Contract Marketing Operations Specialist to support our tech client’s critical period of transformation as they adopt a new marketing automation platform. This 6-month contract will play a key role in helping them streamline and connect their marketing and sales functions through technology.
What You’ll Do:

Platform Implementation Support:
Work closely with the technology team to implement and configure a new marketing tech platform (Salesforce or HubSpot), ensuring alignment with business needs and marketing goals. -
Sales & Marketing System Integration:
Collaborate with the marketing team to map customer journeys, automate follow-ups, and integrate data across systems. -
Campaign Optimization & Automation:
Help the team move away from manual tasks by building automation workflows that drive efficiency and improve lead handling post-events and campaigns. -
Data & CRM Oversight:
Oversee data integrity and assist with structuring and uploading data across platforms with support from an intern dedicated to cleansing and governance tasks. -
Reporting & Insights:
Actively participate in the preparation of monthly and quarterly marketing performance reports. Translate campaign and customer interaction data into actionable insights for internal stakeholders, including reports presented to senior leadership.
Who You Are:

Proven experience in marketing operations

Hands-on expertise with Salesforce and/or HubSpot (ideally both)

Strong understanding of marketing automation, CRM systems, and data flows

Experience mapping customer journeys and implementing marketing tech stacks

Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable presenting insights to leadership

Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams

Comfortable working independently in a remote, contract-based role
