Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Amazon Marketplace Specialist to join our personal care client on a permanent, full-time basis. This role involves managing our client’s Amazon marketplace presence, optimizing product listings, and driving sales growth.The Amazon Marketplace Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our Amazon marketplace operations. This includes optimizing product listings, managing inventory, conducting market research, and implementing strategies to increase sales and visibility on the platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Amazon’s algorithms, policies, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, optimize, and manage product listings to enhance visibility and conversion rates.
- Ensure product listings are accurate, compelling, and compliant with Amazon’s guidelines.
- Utilize SEO best practices to improve organic search rankings.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage restocking to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure timely replenishment of inventory.
- Oversee order fulfillment processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery to customers.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences.
- Analyze sales data and key metrics to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, customer reviews, and market trends.
- Develop and implement Amazon advertising campaigns (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, etc.) to drive traffic and sales.
- Monitor and optimize ad performance to achieve desired ROI and sales objectives.
- Plan and execute promotional activities, such as deals, coupons, and seasonal campaigns.
- Implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and gather positive reviews.
- Stay updated with Amazon’s policies and ensure all activities comply with their guidelines.
- Manage and resolve any issues related to product listings, account health, and performance notifications.
- Work closely with the marketing, sales, and product development teams to align Amazon strategies with overall business goals.
- Coordinate with external partners, such as agencies and consultants, to enhance Amazon marketplace performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience managing Amazon marketplace operations.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth on Amazon.
- Strong understanding of Amazon algorithms, SEO, and advertising platforms.
- Proficiency in using Amazon Seller Central and related tools.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
