Mobile Product Designer – Design Systems
12 Month+ Contract | Toronto | 4 Days In-Office | 1 Day Remote

We’re looking for a Digital Product Designer to join a large enterprise design team and help build and evolve a native mobile design system used by millions of customers across iOS and Android.If you love systems thinking, mobile UI patterns, and collaborating closely with designers and developers to create scalable components — this is a great fit. What you’ll do

  • Design, document, and maintain mobile native components (iOS + Android).
  • Work with product squads to understand needs and co-create requirements.
  • Build wireframes, flows, and prototypes that guide development.
  • Facilitate workshops, critiques, and usability feedback sessions.
  • Contribute to design system standards, guidelines, and release notes.
  • Help strengthen best practices across a 200+ designer community.

What we’re looking for

  • 3+ years in interaction/product design, with a strong focus on mobile native UI.
  • Advanced Figma skills (component creation, variants, system thinking).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience working with complex product ecosystems and agile teams.
  • Ability to articulate design logic and guide decision-making.

Nice to have

  • Experience with design systems at scale.
  • Ability to lead workshops or usability sessions.
  • Background in HCI, UX research, or component-driven design.

Role details

  • 12-month contract, strong potential for extension/conversion.
  • Hybrid: 4 days in office / 1 day remote (Downtown Toronto).
