Motion Graphics Designer (Bilingual – English & French)

Location: Montreal, QC (Hybrid – 2 days/week in-office)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview:

We are looking for a fully bilingual Motion Graphics Designer (English & French) to join our financial client’s creative team in Montreal. This hybrid role (2 days/week in-office) will focus on creating compelling motion content for social media, product explainer videos, corporate communications, and marketing campaigns.

As a versatile motion designer, you’ll be involved in storyboarding, shooting, editing, and developing original 2D & 3D animations that bring our brand and products to life. If you have a passion for all things video, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to tell engaging visual stories, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality motion graphics for social media, product explainers, corporate videos, and marketing content.
  • Storyboard, shoot, and edit video content, ensuring a polished and professional final product.
  • Develop custom 2D & 3D animations that align with brand identity and enhance storytelling.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and design teams to craft engaging visual narratives.
  • Develop motion elements that elevate branding across various digital platforms.
  • Optimize animations for different formats, ensuring high-quality performance across web, mobile, and social channels.
  • Translate complex financial concepts into visually engaging, easy-to-understand animations.
  • Maintain a strong brand aesthetic while experimenting with new styles and animation techniques.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in motion design, fintech marketing, and digital storytelling.

Who You Are:

  • Bilingual in English & French (strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages).
  • 3+ years of experience in motion design, video production, and animation.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.
  • Experience in storyboarding, shooting, and editing live-action and animated content.
  • Skilled in creating both 2D and 3D motion graphics.
  • Understanding of fintech financial services is a strong asset. 
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
