Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Presentation Designer to deliver a series of visually stunning and effective presentations for an agency client of ours. This is a full-time, remote contract for the next 2 months. The Presentation Designer will be responsible for creating visually engaging and brand-consistent presentations that communicate our client’s messages clearly and effectively. This role requires a creative individual with a strong eye for design, excellent PowerPoint skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to produce high-quality presentations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Presentation Design:

    • Create and design PowerPoint presentations that align with the brand’s visual identity and effectively communicate key messages.
    • Develop custom templates, graphics, charts, and infographics to enhance the visual appeal and impact of presentations.
    • Collaborate with SMEs and the creative team to translate ideas and data into compelling visual stories.

  • Content Layout & Formatting:

    • Structure and organize presentation content to ensure clarity, logical flow, and visual balance.
    • Format text, images, and other presentation elements for consistency and readability.
    • Ensure that all presentations are visually appealing, professional, and error-free.

  • Brand Consistency:

    • Maintain and enforce brand guidelines across all presentations to ensure a cohesive visual identity.
    • Adapt existing templates and create new ones that are on-brand and meet the needs of various departments.

  • Collaboration & Communication:

    • Work closely with various teams, including marketing, sales, and leadership, to understand project requirements and objectives.
    • Present design concepts and revisions to stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine and finalize presentations.
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and high-quality standards are maintained.

Requirements

  • 5+ years proven experience as a PowerPoint Designer, Graphic Designer, or similar role with a strong portfolio of presentation work.
  • Expertise in PowerPoint, including advanced knowledge of design features, animations, and transitions.
  • Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) or other design tools.
  • Excellent understanding of typography, colour theory, and layout design principles.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to spot and correct errors in design and content.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and incorporate feedback.
  • Experience in designing for corporate, leadership, and high-profile groups and associations.
