Principal Designer – Digital, Interactive & 3D Web

Remote (U.S. & Canada) | Full-Time

Position Overview:
We’re looking for a Principal Designer specializing in Digital, Interactive, and 3D Web to lead the creation of next-generation, immersive web experiences for Fortune 500 clients ranging across various industries. This role is perfect for someone passionate about pushing the boundaries of WebGL, 3D environments, and interactive storytelling within web browsers.

You’ll collaborate with creative technologists, developers, and designers to craft visually stunning, high-performance interactive websites that integrate real-time 3D elements into code. You’ll work with major brands across industries like automotive, financial services, and technology, guiding teams to create cutting-edge digital experiences.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive the vision for interactive 3D web experiences, ensuring creative and technical excellence.
  • Develop immersive, WebGL-powered digital environments that push the limits of browser-based 3D.
  • Work closely with creative technologists, developers, and UX teams to ensure seamless design-to-development execution.
  • Partner with Fortune 500 brands to translate business objectives into world-class interactive experiences.
  • Keep up with emerging trends in real-time 3D, motion interaction, and immersive web technologies.
  • Use 3D and interactive elements to create visually compelling and engaging brand narratives.

What You Bring

  • 8+ years of experience in digital design, interactive media, or immersive 3D experiences.
  • Expertise in 3D Web Design & Motion: Strong background in WebGL, Three.js, GSAP, and interactive web development.
  • Experience leading highly interactive web projects with 3D integrated into code.
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI for immersive web environments.
  • Experience working with creative technologists and development teams.
  • A portfolio showcasing 3D-driven interactive web experiences for major brands.
  • Ability to lead teams, present to clients, and drive innovation.

Bonus Skills (Big Wins!)

  • Hands-on experience with VR/AR, real-time rendering, or game engines (Unity, Unreal).
  • Experience integrating AI-powered interactivity into web experiences.
  • Background in automotive, fintech, or high-tech brand experiences.
