Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Product Design Lead to join our dynamic tech client on a remote full-time contract basis, with the potential to become a permanent role. This is an exciting opportunity to shape user experiences for cutting-edge tech solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive impactful design decisions. With the possibility of transitioning into a permanent role, this position is ideal for a passionate and innovative designer looking to make a lasting impact in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibiltiies:

  • Own the end-to-end design process, from discovery and ideation to prototyping, testing, and delivery.
  • Design intuitive and user-centred interfaces that solve complex problems and elevate the user experience.
  • Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align design solutions with business goals and technical constraints.
  • Contribute to and refine the product’s overall design vision and strategy, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to junior designers, fostering a culture of creativity, growth, and collaboration.
  • Conduct or utilize user research, analytics, and feedback to inform and iterate on designs.
  • Champion user needs while balancing business objectives, using data and insights to drive decision-making.

What We’re Looking For

  • 8+ years of professional experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in UX/UI design, interaction design, and visual design.
  • Proven ability to lead design initiatives and mentor team members.
  • Expertise with Figma.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, iterative environment with shifting priorities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and present to stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of user-centred design principles, usability best practices, and accessibility standards.
  • Analytical thinker who thrives on solving complex design challenges.
