Product Designer 

Location: Remote, Canada
Engagement: full-time contract through end of year 
Rate: $70-$80/hr 

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an intermediate–senior Product Designer to join our B2B SaaS client. You’ll collaborate with product managers and developers to design user-centred experiences across web and desktop platforms. This is a high-impact role where you’ll champion UX, ensuring design decisions are grounded in user insights. This is a remote, full-time contract, with the potential to extend. 

What You’ll Work On

  • Customer-facing web tools and AI-driven workflows.

  • Driving interaction design within an established design system.

How You’ll Work

  • Use Figma for wireframing, prototyping, and collaboration.

  • Work within the Basecamp framework, from early sketches to leadership buy-in and build handoff.

  • Champion UX by asking the right questions, using metrics and available user data to validate design decisions.

  • Confidently advocate for user needs, pushing back where necessary to ensure balanced, user-led outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

  • 4-7+ years of product design experience, ideally in SaaS, B2B, or financial products.

  • Strong in interaction design.

  • Experience working with product managers and developers in an agile, cross-functional team.

  • Comfortable being a proactive UX voice and not just executing tasks handed down.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
