Program Manager

Position Overview:
We are seeking an organized and driven Project Manager to oversee and manage creative projects for a leading retail client. Based in their Toronto office, this is a 6+ month full-time contract, with the likelihood to extend to December 2025, working 2 days/week in the office. You will be responsible for managing timelines, budgets, and project deliverables to support the client’s goals across various channels including creative content, in-store marketing, advertising campaigns, and ecommerce. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and implement project plans, ensuring all deliverables are met within the agreed timeframes and budgets.
- Establish clear project objectives and communicate roles and responsibilities to all team members.
- Monitor project progress and resolve any issues or roadblocks that may arise to keep the project on track.
- Act as the main point of contact for the retail client, providing regular updates and maintaining strong communication throughout each project phase.
- Work closely with client stakeholders to understand their vision and ensure alignment on project goals, milestones, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including creative, marketing, and digital, to ensure seamless project execution and adherence to client expectations.
- Manage vendor relationships, coordinating with third parties to deliver any required services or materials on time.
- Prepare project budgets, monitor expenses, and report on variances, ensuring projects remain financially efficient.
- Track and manage timelines for multiple projects, adjusting plans as necessary to meet changing client needs.
- Identify potential project risks and develop contingency plans to address them proactively.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues, anticipating challenges and finding solutions that maintain project integrity.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the retail or agency environment.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple, complex projects from start to finish.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Microsoft Project).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a focus on detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team management.
- A proactive problem-solver with a client-focused approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Wrike is an asset.
