Project Manager

Job Description:
We are seeking Creative Project Managers to join our large retail client on 6-12+ month contracts, working full-time hours, and 1-2 days in office (midtown). You will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of print, digital, photo and video projects. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with the high-quality standards expected by our client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to understand project requirements, objectives, and branding guidelines.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables including ecomm assets, social content, email programs, and in-store assets.
- assemble and lead cross-functional project teams including designers, copywriters, photographers, and other creatives.
- Assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure everyone understands their roles and responsibilities.
- Maintain a high standard of quality throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring designs are in line with the client’s branding and expectations. Conduct regular reviews and approvals to ensure deliverables are on track.
- Address issues and obstacles that may impact project timelines or quality.
- Act as the primary point of contact for various teams, addressing their concerns and keeping them informed about project progress.
- Foster clear and effective communication between team members, clients, and stakeholders, and provide regular project updates and reports to keep everyone informed.
- Ensure all project files and assets are organized and accessible.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., project management, marketing, or design).
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in a creative agency or a retail company.
- Strong knowledge of retail industry trends and branding principles.
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Jira, Wrike).
- PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
