Position: Senior Digital Designer
Rate: $40–$45/hour
Duration: 3-month full-time contract (will extend through EOY based on performance)
Location: Remote (occasional in-office days)

Position Overview
We’re seeking a talented and seasoned Digital Designer to join our retail tech client for an initial 3-month full-time contract, with high potential to extend. This role is remote, with occasional in-office days throughout the year.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects with creative freedom while collaborating closely with our client’s in-house design team. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and have a sharp eye for typography, layout, and design details, we’d love to hear from you.

As part of this design team, you’ll work on a diverse range of projects across digital, print, and packaging. While there’s creative direction to guide you, this isn’t a production or layout-focused role—70% of your work will be net-new design. This is a highly autonomous position where you’ll bring fresh ideas and execute them with minimal oversight.

What You’ll Do:

Digital Design (60%)

  • Create polished digital assets in Figma, including emails, landing pages, and digital marketing ads

Print Design (30%)

  • Design collateral for print such as legal inserts for packaging, pull-up banners for events and conferences, and occasional branded swag

Packaging (10%)

  • Contribute to the packaging design for our client’s products

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong skills in typography, line spacing, and layout adjustments

  • Ability to flex between clean, corporate designs and more expressive, creative styles

  • Comfortable working both collaboratively and independently with minimal management

  • Previous in-house experience preferred

  • A portfolio that balances professionalism with creativity — corporate experience is valuable, but we’re looking for something fresh and visually compelling
