Senior Product Designer (IC)

Location: Toronto (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
Salary Range: $130,000–$150,000 CAD
Team: Product Design (6–7 Designers)

About the Role

We’re partnering with a large, established fintech organization to find a Senior Product Designer to join their growing Product Design team. This is an individual contributor role with meaningful ownership across end-to-end product design, focused primarily on money movement experiences that serve millions of customers.

This team values designers who can think holistically — from research and journey mapping through to polished UI — and who are comfortable owning the full lifecycle of their work without reliance on a separate UI or visual design function.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own the end-to-end design process across UX, research, journey mapping, interaction design, and UI

  • Design seamless money movement experiences, including:

    • Login and authentication flows

    • Customer notifications and email touchpoints

    • Checking the status of transfers

    • Currency exchange and transaction flows

  • Apply service design thinking to ensure experiences feel cohesive across channels and touchpoints

  • Design and ship experiences across mobile and web platforms

  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional partners

  • Contribute to and evolve design patterns and systems while maintaining a high bar for craft

  • Occasionally support adjacent features across other products, with the majority of focus on core money movement experiences

What We’re Looking For

  • A senior, end-to-end product designer with experience owning complex consumer-facing products

  • Strong skills across UX, interaction design, and high-fidelity UI execution

  • Experience designing transactional or flow-heavy experiences (fintech experience is a plus, but not required)

  • Comfort working without a dedicated UI or visual design partner — you’re hands-on from start to finish

  • A thoughtful, systems-minded designer who can balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills within cross-functional teams
