Senior Product Designer

Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Product Designer with extensive UX research expertise o join our team. In this role, you will drive user-centred design strategies, leveraging deep research insights to create seamless, data-driven digital experiences for our financial client’s users. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to shape and enhance key financial products. This is a full-time role, it is mainly remote with the occasional onsite days (4 days/month in downtown office).
Key Responsibilities

Lead qualitative and quantitative user research initiatives, including interviews, usability testing, surveys, and data analysis.

Advocate for user needs, ensuring design decisions align with business goals and regulatory requirements.

Design intuitive, scalable, and accessible digital products for complex financial systems.

Develop user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs that prioritize clarity and usability.

Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure seamless implementation of design solutions.

Conduct A/B testing and iterate based on user feedback and performance metrics.

???????Work cross-functionally with product managers, business analysts, and development teams to align design solutions with business objectives.

???????Present research findings and design recommendations to senior stakeholders and executives.
- Facilitate design workshops and brainstorming sessions to gather ideas and feedback.
Experience:
- 5+ years in product design, with a strong emphasis on UX research.
- Previous experience working at a financial institution (banking, fintech, or insurance required).
- Proven track record of designing for complex financial products, enterprise platforms, or regulatory-driven environments
- Expert in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD for prototyping and UI design.
- Strong knowledge of UX research methods, usability testing tools, and analytics platforms (e.g., Hotjar, Google Analytics, or Amplitude).
- Understanding of WCAG accessibility standards and how to apply them in financial product design.
- Experience with design systems and scalable UI frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate research insights into business value.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment while maintaining attention to detail.
