Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented UX Designer with expertise in SharePoint to work for our client on a part-time basis for the next 2-3 months. As a UX Designer specializing in SharePoint, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and visually appealing user experiences within the SharePoint platform, as this will become our client’s new internal website. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders and creatives to understand user needs, define requirements, and design solutions that enhance usability, accessibility, and overall user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups to visualize and communicate UX concepts and interactions.
  • Optimize information architecture, navigation, and content organization to facilitate intuitive user journeys and interactions.
  • Define and document UX design standards, guidelines, and best practices for SharePoint environments.
  • Work with an Art Director and Copywriter to ensure visual coherence across multiple pages, sites, and applications within the SharePoint ecosystem.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), User Experience Design, Graphic Design, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience as a UX Designer, Interaction Designer, or similar role, with some level of experience designing SharePoint-based websites and applications.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing UX/UI design projects, specifically within SharePoint environments.
  • Solid understanding of SharePoint capabilities, including site customization, web parts, and content management features.
  • Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and user-centred design methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and explain design concepts to stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
