Social Media Analytics Lead

We are working with one of Toronto’s hottest social/content agencies on a search for a Social Media Analytics Lead! This person will leverage cutting-edge data, insights and innovative paid media strategies to fuel growth, optimize results, and deliver measurable success for their clients.
Leading with innovation to uncover growth opportunities and ensure continuous campaign optimization, you will leverage data insights to drive performance and provide strategic recommendations to clients. This role requires a strategic thinker who thrives on data storytelling, turning insights into actionable strategies that deliver exceptional results in a fast paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Analytics
- Analyze data to extract actionable insights, identify trends, and highlight opportunities for growth and optimization
- Create and manage dashboards using tools like Google Analytics/Data Studio to visualize campaign results
- Track key metrics and report performance to internal teams and clients
- Reporting
- Generate detailed performance reports for paid social campaigns, highlighting key metrics such as ROI, ROAS, CTR, CPA, engagement rates, reach and impressions
- Develop and maintain real-time dashboards to provide stakeholders with easy access to campaign data
- Insights and Recommendations
- Analyze campaign results to identify trends, actionable insights, and areas for optimization
- Provide data-backed recommendations for future campaigns, audience targeting, creative adjustments, and budget reallocations
- Client Reporting
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and end-of-campaign performance summaries for clients
- Translate complex data into clear, concise insights and visualizations tailored to client needs and expectations
- Paid Social Media Strategy:
- Design and implement a comprehensive paid social media campaigns across platforms such as Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging channels
- Develop audience segmentation strategies and oversee A/B testing to optimize campaign performance
- Collaboration & Communication
- Partner with creative, strategy, and client teams to ensure alignment of paid media strategies with campaign messaging and objectives
- Manage and collaborate with junior members and/or freelancers
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in an agency or corporate setting, with 4+ years in marketing, advertising, content or social media
- Strategic, innovative thinker with strong organizational skills
- Expertise in social media platforms, analytics tools, and scheduling software (Meta, X, TikTok, IG, SnapChat, YT, Pinterest, Sprout, Brandwatch, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, etc.)
- Natural curiosity that drives you to constantly explore and understand consumer behaviours, mindsets, needs and desires
