Social Media Content Strategist

Salary: $95,000 – $115,000
Onsite: 3 days/week, Toronto

About the Role

Our fintech client is seeking a highly creative and hands-on Social Media Content Strategist to elevate their presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok. This role is ideal for someone who blends strong strategic thinking with the ability to execute content directly — from ideation to production.

You will be responsible for redefining the brand’s social voice, building content roadmaps, and translating complex financial concepts into engaging, relatable content that resonates with modern audiences.

This role requires a creative storyteller who can think strategically about social while remaining deeply involved in the hands-on creation of content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage content strategies, cadences, and editorial roadmaps across LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok

  • Translate complex financial topics into clear, relatable, and engaging social content

  • Reimagine and elevate the brand’s voice and presence across social platforms

  • Ideate and produce short-form content including reels, stories, and posts

  • Design and produce content using tools such as Canva and native platform editing tools

  • Monitor trends and identify opportunities for the brand to participate in relevant conversations

  • Collaborate with the in-house creative team on larger campaigns and content initiatives

  • Continuously test and optimize content approaches to improve engagement and reach

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in social media strategy and content creation

  • Strong creative instincts and proven ability to ideate standout social content

  • Hands-on experience producing social content (reels, short-form video, graphics, stories)

  • Comfort using tools like Canva and native editing tools for social platforms

  • Experience building social strategies and content calendars

  • Strong storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex topics

  • Deep understanding of LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok best practices

  • Entrepreneurial, self-directed approach with the ability to operate autonomously
