Location: Downtown Toronto (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite/week)
Rate: $40/hr
Duration: 6 month contract (potential to extend or go full-time)
Overview
We’re seeking a Social Media Manager with exceptional communication skills to join our financial client managing national social channels across Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has some financial industry experience, as well as the confidence to provide true expertise to internal stakeholders. We’re looking for a strong, hands-on social professional who can contribute strategically.
Role Mandate
This team manages all organic and paid social media activity. The role includes content creation and publishing, campaign management, performance reporting, and stakeholder guidance.
You will also help internal partners position announcements and products effectively across social channels while maintaining brand integrity and compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute results-driven organic and paid social strategies

Manage paid campaigns end-to-end (strategy ? execution ? reporting)

Publish content using social media management tools

Provide subject-matter expertise on social-first creative best practices

Collaborate with internal teams and agency partners on integrated campaigns

Manage logistics for live social events and real-time content creation

Analyze performance metrics and provide optimization recommendations

Contribute to scorecards and reporting discussions

Maintain brand standards and voice consistency

Develop educational materials for stakeholders

Ensure documentation is properly stored in knowledge repositories (OneDrive, SharePoint)
Must-Have Qualifications

Post-secondary degree

3+ years of experience in social media management

Strong understanding of online marketing and social platforms

Experience with tools such as Sprinklr, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social

Experience with META Business Manager and LinkedIn Campaign Manager

Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills

Strong project management and multitasking ability

Detail-oriented with a positive, collaborative mindset
