Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Copywriter with an agency background for a highly reputable clients of ours. This is a great opportunity if you’re looking to add a freelance client, as it is a 2+ year contract, part-time hours. As their Senior Copywriter, you will play a key role in developing captivating short to mid-form content that not only grabs attention but also delivers the desired message effectively. You will collaborate closely with creative and marketing teams to ensure their campaigns are compelling, on-brand, and aligned with their marketing goals. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital marketing trends, social media platforms, and email marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft clear, concise, and persuasive short to mid-form content for web, email, social media, and other digital marketing channels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm and develop creative concepts and strategies that drive engagement and conversions.
  • Ensure that all copy maintains a consistent brand voice and adheres to the client’s brand guidelines across all digital channels.
  • Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and best practices to optimize content for web, email, and social media, with a focus on maximizing reach and engagement.
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss copywriting strategies, provide updates, and address feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional copywriting experience in an agency or similar setting, with a focus on short to mid-form content.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create engaging content for web, email, and social media.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing, social media platforms, and email marketing strategies.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to generate fresh ideas.
  • Deadline-driven with excellent time management skills.
  • Agency experience preferred.
