Position Overview:
We are seeking a results-oriented Senior Marketing Manager with a strong focus on driving sales growth through integrated traditional and digital marketing strategies. As a key leader in our edtech client’s marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative campaigns that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue generation. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of leveraging both traditional and digital channels to achieve business objectives and drive measurable results. This is a full-time position and a hybrid workplace, with 2 days/week onsite in their Markham office.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with sales objectives and drive revenue growth across traditional and digital channels.
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand market needs, target audience preferences, and sales pipeline priorities to inform marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Lead the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, email marketing, events, and content marketing.
- Utilize data-driven insights to optimize campaign performance, customer targeting, and budget allocation for maximum ROI.
- Manage junior staff and freelancers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to drive excellence in campaign execution and performance.
- Build and nurture strategic partnerships with external agencies, partners, and vendors to enhance our client’s reach and effectiveness globally.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behaviour to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop compelling value propositions, messaging, and collateral that resonate with target audiences.
- Analyze campaign metrics and KPIs to measure performance, track ROI, and report on key insights to stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement in marketing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing roles with a strong emphasis on driving sales growth and revenue generation.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns that deliver measurable business results.
- Deep understanding of traditional and digital marketing channels, including advertising, SEO/SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data and insights to inform marketing strategies and optimize campaign performance.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and a passion for driving innovation and growth.
- Experience in B2B or B2C marketing, preferably in a high-growth industry or technology sector.
- Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and storytelling that resonates with target audiences.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business needs.
- Openness to travel internally a few times per year.
