Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented Translator fluent in Quebecois French to join our client on a full-time, permanent basis. As a Translator on their brand marketing team, you will play a crucial role in translating a variety of internal and external communications materials, including emails, documents, presentations, and website content. You will collaborate closely with various departments to maintain consistency, clarity, and tone across all translated materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate English communications content into Quebecois French with accuracy, consistency, and cultural sensitivity.
  • Review and proofread translated content to ensure grammatical correctness, linguistic accuracy, and adherence to company style guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand communication objectives, target audience, and context for translation projects.
  • Adapt language and terminology to reflect regional nuances and cultural preferences specific to Quebecois French.
  • Provide linguistic support and guidance to internal teams on language usage, translation best practices, and cultural considerations.
  • Manage translation projects efficiently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Maintain a glossary of key terms and phrases to ensure consistency and accuracy in translations.
  • Stay updated on language trends, industry terminology, and cultural developments relevant to Quebecois French.


  • Fluency in both English and Quebecois French, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
  • Proven experience as a translator, with a focus on translating English communications content to Quebecois French.
  • Strong understanding of Quebecois French language, culture, and regional variations.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy and consistency in translations.
  • Proficiency in translation tools and software (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ) is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Communications, or related field is preferred.
  • Sports or auto experience is a bonus
